Blindows 4.10

Advice: Blindows hardware of generation 2000 cannot be used under Windows NT. - Offerer:

displays of BAUM Retec AG and PRONTO!. Blindows 4.10 decreeds a braille
manager; any braille displays can be used parallel. For USB devices
further CeBoxes and braille displays can be used parallel. Foot switch
for freehand navigation.

- The appropriate speech synthesizer is Eloquence. 16 soft- or hardware speech synthesizer are compatible for Jaws.

- Under Windows NT soundblaster (dual) recommended. Under Windows 2000/XP any sound card usable.

- Super VGA graphics card
- screen settings:
- for screen settings true color and a resolution from 800*600 is recommended. Higher resolution possible, too.
- Speech synthesizer:
- the appropriate speech synthesizer is IBM via voice
Outloud. Any speech synthesizer with SAPI resp. SSIL interface can be installed.
- Braille display:
- The
Manufacturer recommends braille display DM 80 plus, vario 40, vario 80,
SuperVario, Pronto and PocketVario. Recommended are all braille
displays of Audiodata company, too. Altogether there are 56 braille
displays running with Virgo 4.5.
