Letter size
Usually the letters are 10 mm high. In addition, there are
deviations downward. That can be crucial for the choice of suitable
font size.
Key printing
There are different kinds of key printing. That has effect on chroma and durability of the key caption.
Mass
Even standard keyboards do not have uniform size. If only little
place is available for the keyboard, the size can be an important
criterion for the choice.
Weight
